Vagina Dentata

Vagina Dentata is a Latin term for a rare condition that makes teeth grow out of a vagina.

Various cultures, mostly tribes in Chaco and Guiana, have tales about the Vagina Dentata, many of these are intended as warnings against the dangers of having sex with strange wOmen and to discourage rape.

An example of such myth: An aggressive fish inhabits the vagina of a Terrible Mother. The hero is the man who overcomes the Terrible Mother, breaks the teeth out of her vagina, and so makes her into a woman.

But small tribes are not the only ones with refrence to the condition even major civilisations like the Chinese, Ancient Greeks, Egyptians and Romans have some reference to vagina dentata.

In reality vagina dentata is a very rare existing condition.
This is when a Mutation forms in the embryonic skin cells, this is wherever the skin folds inwards to become another organ, such as in the ear or the vagina. Known as "dermoid cysts" this tumour can mature into teeth, bones, or hair.
Several cases like this have been recorded throughout the medical history.
