Ooookay I try to explain it in layman terms
You know a circle.
round, and goes around for 360 degrees.
then draw a line from the center of the circle to the edge and imagine it turning around.
The baseline is that the y -coordinate of the end of the turning line is the sinus of an angle.
The same applies to the cosinus, only it is the x- coordinate being the cosinus of an angle.
The tangent is the sinus divided by the coninus.
Thus if it is at 90 degrees. THe sinus is 1 the cosinus is 0 THe tangent is infintely high.
VERY VERY IMPORTANT. This is usually derived from the radial system. E.g. a circle is 2pi all around..
